More touring, and today it was all walking. We started walking to the Ubahn station and rode 4 stops before getting off. We got to see the original flour market, a statue removed because of the Chastity commission and more building built by royalty, quasi-royalty and rich people that are now hotels or businesses since the quasi-royalty and rich people had to sell off their assets. We saw the building with the Hapsburg family Crypts, the Burggarten (with the statue of Mozart), and ended up ay the Vienna Museum of Art History (Museum of Fine Arts) where our guide (who, if not an art major in college, wanted to be one) showed us sone of the famous paintings housed in the museum. works by Caravaggio, Raphael, Pieter Brueghel the Elder, Rembrandt, Rubens and others. She went on about the composition of the painting, the influences and significance of the paintings. I still don't care. We had lunch at the museum. First course was a Potato Dumpling in a chicken broth, Austrian goulash (braised meat in a sauce), and a what tasted like a marbled pound cake for desert.

From there we went to the national library and learned about its history. Finally we ended up at St. Stephens Cathedral where I was able to pick up some souvenirs and look in some shops that I had only passed by the day before.

Dinner was potato soup and Grilled Perch.

The ship sails at midnight for Bucharest.
