The morning started off with a tour around the city. We saw and learned the history of the buildings, why they built a 7000 space parking garage, under the water, for bicycles (pictures on the picture page). Our guide lives in an old church nunnery that only house older single women.

Had some time when I got back to the hotel to relax before taking the tram to the Van Gough museum. A lot of things to see, and learn. I learned that I truly am not moved nor care about art. Buildings, their history and their adornments are what I like

Good to know.

Came back and slept for a bit. Now it was time to get ready for a canal cruise.

As I was about to put my shoes, on the tour called and asked where I was since they were leaving 10 minutes ago. Turns out when they moved me to this hotel, the itinerary was not updated to leave earlier. Not a big deal, 2 others were also confused and late with me. Viking taxied us to the boat in plenty of time and 13 of us spent 2 hours on the canals, aleatimg cheese and drinking wine.

Decided to pack in the morning.

Monday (Day 3) is a tour of Jewish Amsterdam and then off to the ship.
